AFTER SCHOOL SKATE PROGRAM

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6pm. 

This program is designed to improve skateboard skills, learn proper skatepark etiquette, and build up the confidence on four wheels while having fun!

We start off the day with setting goals for the session and properly warming up. After that we skate! During that time we cover three of the four C's (Confidence, Courage, Commitment and Community. We take a break halfway through for a snack and some water then right back to it! We spend the last fifteen minutes journaling about the goals we met and didn't make and how we plan to achieve them next time!

THE FOUR C'S

• CONFIDENCE - We'll spend time making sure everyone feels confident on their board, learning the art of failing/falling to install confidence on the next trick!
• COURAGE - We help them get the courage to fall and fail in order to succeed. Failure is the first step to success! We'll help install the belief in themselves to accomplish their goals!
  
• Commitment - Once we have their confidence and courage soaring, we work on committing to learning a new trick and believing that they CAN do it! Commitment is key!
• Community - We teach them that skateboarding is the best community! To support one another, cheer for the makes, laugh at the bails and to stick together!
